5/4 Hari Untuk Selamanya

Selama seminggu ini, murid kelas 3 SMA menghadapi UAN (yang tentunya telah mereka selesaikan). Berikutnya, giliran murid kelas 3 SMP yang menghadapinya. Nasib mereka benar-benar ditentukan dalam waktu 5 hari untuk SMA dan 4 hari untuk SMP.

Sungguh berat hal yang harus dilalui murid-murid ini, terutama para murid SMA, hasil kerja keras mereka selama 3 tahun harus ditentukan dalam hitungan hari, tidak bahkan dalam hitungan jam!

Perlu diketahui (dan sudah diserukan banyak pihak) bahwa hal ini amatlah tidak adil! Tapi mau bagaimana lagi.

Sangat disayangkan bahwa kecurangan adalah bagian yang tak terelakkan di UAN. Kecurangan itu biasa berbentuk kebocoran soal atau pun dijualnya kunci jawaban UAN. Yang lebih menyedihkan lagi para murid tidak menolak hal ini, bahkan mereka membeli atau berusaha mendapatkannya.

1 hal lain yang memprihatinkan adalah keberadaan pengawas yang biasanya tidak mengawas dengan baik dan asal-asalan dalam mengawas. Menyedihkan! Inilah potret pendidikan Indonesia. Jika hal ini terus berlanjut, bagaimana dengan masa depan Indonesia? Bagaimana kita mau mengalahkan MALAYSIA yang seringkali kita sebut sebagai saingan kita?

Hitungan hari untuk selamanya. Seharusnya para siswa berusaha untuk mengerjakan semaksimal mungkin, dan pihak lain juga mendukung agar proses regenerasi Indonesia berjalan dan menghasilkan orang-orang dengan mental jujur dan bersaing.

Complicated Creature

Complicated creature, or complicated beings. That's what women, girls, and other daughters of Eve are. They're so complicated so that only they, the other women/girls and GOD knows what's on their head.

Of course they are, why? One of the reason is, they have an ability to say A while what they really mean is B, C, or even Z. Can't get it? Here's an example. A boy asked her girl what she want for her birthday, then the girl replied that it's enough for her as long as her boy remember her birthday so that he doesn't have to give her anything. The boy give her nothing. She's mad. Why? Because on her head she expect her boy to give her something (special I think).

Then, females has another special abilities (which I have found out). One of them, is the capability of changing mind or point of view in night (calmly!). This ability is amazing isn't it? They're capable of change the way they treat males, friends, or maybe even siblings! Sometimes I do hope this ability. :)

Last but not least, I have to restate that no one, but no one know what's on their head. One said that if you wanna know what's inside their head, you have to think like them. Never try to guess what's inside their head.

Right, as a conclusion of this silly post is: "Females are the most complicated puzzle mankind ever known". Don't you agree?

Dagelan Perwakilan Rakyat aka DPR

Well, semua orang pasti sudah tahu kericuhan DPR saat memungut suara mengenai Kasus Century.

Mereka ricuh karena berpendapat kalau pendapat merekalah yang paling benar. Sungguh konyol. DPR yang demikian benar-benar dewan perwakilan rakyat dalam arti yang sebenarnya. Mereka dengan sukses mewakili citra sebagian besar masyarakat Indonesia yang egois dan cenderung memaksakan kehendaknya masing-masing, serta mengandalkan fisik dalam mengatasi masalah. Bayangkan, hal yang biasa kita lihat di kampung-kampung terekspos dengan jelas di gedung MPR-DPR, dan parahnya hal tersebut disaksikan jutaan orang di seluruh Indonesia!

Saya pernah membaca suatu artikel di kompasiana, dan saya menemukan suatu pendapat menarik. Ada pendapat yang mengatakan bahwa penunjukkan orang-orang pansus yang berasal dari kalangan non-ekonom sangatlah konyol. Bukankah sebaiknya anggota Pansus diambil dari kalangan yang kompeten (para ekonom)? Hal tersebut bagaikan berkonsultasi penyakit mata kepada dokter gigi.

Sungguh, hal ini hanya bisa terjadi di Indonesia. Negaraku yang kaya.

Koreksi Itu Penting!

Setiap orang pasti pernah membuat kesalahan. Dari kesalahan yang kita buat, pasti ada yang merasa risih, sebal bahkan benci dengan kita (gara-gara perilaku kita yang salah itu).

Nah, disinilah ada 1 masalah yang dapat dimulai. Ada kemungkinan teman/rekan/saudara kita yang menghindari kita gara kita pernah buat salah ke mereka. Mereka menjauhi kita dan kita dibuat bingung dan bertanya-tanya; "kenapa begitu?"

Nah, yang perlu ditekankan dari ini, harusnya mereka-mereka itu langsung mengatakan kepada. To.The.Point. Kasihan mereka yang bingung karena merasa ditinggalkan. Kalau mereka tidak diberitahu apa kesalahan mereka, bagaimana mereka mau berubah?

Anyway, itulah pentingnya komunikasi.

My Strange Indonesia

Indonesia, my country is a really strange country. You'll find lots of oddity.

Indonesia is the only place where you'll find things can be easily being forbid by a side. Yes, here I'm talking about MUI (Indonesian Moslem Council) who forbid lots of things! Lately they forbid hair smoothing, hair extension, and also curling. They said it attract lust, I mean woman's hair. Crazy isn't it? Those who said that women haircut attract lust is the one who attracted!

Indonesia is one of the country who (want to) restrict the freedom of expression in the Internet. As far as i know, it's intended to protect the government from bad impression. Simply remind me of the New Order (Orde Baru). Where in the world is Democracy? Pancasila?

Indonesia is the one of few country where justice isn't gray. You're the justice and the truth when you have money.

Indonesia, oh how I dream you to be a better country. Actually there are things, strange things in Indonesia that would make you exhales but, these are enough. These are as far as I remember when I post.
For those who celebrate The Lunar (Chinese) New Year and Valentine, I said happy new year or happy valentine!

Jocks Vs Nerds/geeks

There are caste in high school, the popular one most of them called jocks are in the higher and highest level while the lower class, mostly nerds or good boy/girls.

Jocks is a classic North American stereotype of a male athlete. Usually they 'rule' the high school along with their popular girl, and not only in US, but also in my country, Indonesia. They usually do whatever they want for example bullying schoolmate they considered as nerds, loser and so on. They usually think they're strong, cool, and popular, plus they don't care about their academic stuff.

Nerd is a term often bearing a derogatory connotation or stereotype, that refers to a person who passionately pursues intellectual activities, esoteric knowledge, or other obscure interests that are age-inappropriate rather than engaging in more social or popular activities. They usually considered as uncool people and usually, the higher class won't even see their existence. Nerds could be those who study all the time, those who didn't join any sport clubs, or those who aren't popular.

There are one unique statement that crossed my mind recently. Jocks are one of those who 'rule' the school, but know what? The world are being ruled by nerds! Can't believe it? Should I say, Bill Gates? Mark Zuckeberg? James Walles (founder of Wikipedia)? And the genius Einstein?

Be ware Jocks! Be ware you popular kids. Your reign won't be long! Enjoy it while it last. You geeks and nerds, stay positive! You could rule the world. And you could rule the jocks too.

Well, I never say jocks can't be as successful as nerds or nerds and geeks will always success. To become someone in the world (meaning: success), you need more than lucks! You need to work hard and have faith to achieve it. Cheers!

Being Yourself

We live in this world, and believe it or not, sometimes we're not being ourselves. We could be having job we don't enjoy, attending wrong class at college, or else.


The fact is, we have to be ourselves, but how?
The easiest thing we could have done first is, defining our original interest, for example, I love traveling and I love the beauty of nature and that makes me more comfortable in landscape photography instead of photograph that involve model and photographing event.

And the least thing you should do, in my opinion, is not to being other's want you to be. For example, your parent want you to be a doctor, but you love the law deep inside your heart. Pick law in college instead of doctor. But still you have to listen to others because your friend could criticize you and you can take the positive side.
