Those kind of quotes, were heard by me recently, and I thought some of it too. Why could those things slip to our mind lately? We're graduating from high school, and about to attend college but we often think like we're 5th or even 3rd grader!

One night, i finally come with an answer, rises in my mine. All of us, the senior high student are afraid. Deep down inside, we're afraid of growing up. Some of us, afraid of losing things we enjoyed, things we loved, things we have in this moment.

Deep down inside we're all wanna be forever young.

Year End's Resolution

Wow, in several hour, there are 2009 no more and there will be 2010. If it look backward, 2009 was very important to me, why? Because this year surely opened my eyes about lot of things, teach me a lot, and forged me a lot.

Well, what happened this year? These are some of things happened:

-Having fights with 2 friends. not only fight, but a cold war. (solved one of it though).
-Reclaim my sketching ability and my movie taste
-Learn photography
-Made this blog and twitter. Macro and Micro.

2009 also gives great impact to the world. I shouldn't and wouldn't wanna blab about it for it going to be too...

Anyway, anyhow, like Christmas, though it's been said many times many ways, Happy New Year!

This Christmas

Oh, it's Christmas already. What do you think of Christmas? For me, it's not about the present, the Christmas Tree, Santa Claus, Shopping Discount, or else. It's about love.

Well, for those who think Christmas is about sharing, they're right. But the most beautiful thing to share in Christmas. Love, brings happiness, happiness brings laugh, laugh mean joy, joy lead to inner peace. Isn't it beautiful, when all the people share love to the others?

One (Mother Theresa if I'm not mistaken) said that "when you smile to the other, you bring Christmas to them", so if you share or bring love to the other all the time, you gives them Christmas!

So, what are you waiting for? Share love in Christmas!

2012 Phenomenon

I do believe that everyone has read or hear or even talks about 2012 and it's doomsday prediction. Wait, no worry, because I'm not going to talk about that here, in my blog.

The phenomenon i'm gonna talk about is the phenomenon that is caused by Roland Emirich's latest film about that prediction: 2012. It really gives people curiosity because of the theme.

And this movie, even though i haven't watch it for some reason (later revealed in this post), i do believe that this movie is something for some people. It caused a long queue in Mall Puri Indah, the longest line for 3 years! Last time I saw queue this long is the queue of Spiderman 3 back in 2007. Even Transformer: Revenge of The Fallen wasn't this long!

Tips Menghadapi Libur Lebaran

Libur (singkat) telah tiba! Hore, Hore! Dalam kehidupan sekolah, lebaran merupakan rentetan libur paling singkat, dengan durasi sekitar 10-14 hari (di sekolah swasta).


Apa saja yang sebaiknya dilakukan sepanjang liburan ini?

1. Pergi jalan-jalan ke luar negeri.
Ini adalah hal yang sebaiknya dilakukan, karena perjalanan dalam negeri tidak direkomendasikan karena padatnya arus mudik masyarakat. Meski demikian, liburan ke luar negeri akan jadi melelahkan karena pendeknya durasi liburan, dan sangat tidak dianjurkan mengunjungi negara yang jauh seperti negara-negara di Eropa atau Amerika.


2. Keliling kota.
Anda tinggal di Jakarta? Inilah saatnya untuk menikmati seluk beluk kota Jakarta, karena selama lebaran, Jakarta akan menjadi sepi dan sangat nyaman. Pergilah ke Menteng, nikmati Kota Tua, kelilingilah!

3. Mencicil pekerjaan sekolah/kantor.
Ini tidak begitu disarankan, namun sepanjang liburan dapat diisi dengan mencicil pekerjaan yang ada. Hitung-hitung mengurangi stress saat waktu kerja/sekolah tiba.



4. Lakukan Hobi anda.
Stress selama bekerja? Liburan singkat seperti ini akan menjadi menyenangkan serta menyegarkan jika diisi dengan hobi anda.

5. Istirahat TOTAL
Anda letih karena pekerjaan anda? Stress? Pastinya. Istirahatlah di rumah, habiskan waktu dengan keluarga anda. Istirahat dapat dilakukan dengan cara bermalas-malasan, tidur, nonton tv dll dsb dst.


Nah, jangan bingung mau ngapain selama liburan. Syukurilah liburan ini!

National Election

Well, so far, the election is good, without any riot, yet, hopefully there won't be any! So, everyone, almost everyone had used their right well, although some did not. But whoever win this election, let's hope they're the one who'll lead this country to the edge of prosperity not to the edge of 'annihilation'. God Bless Indonesia!

Tomorrow: National Election

Alright, it's been 3 months since the legislative election, and tomorrow will be presidential election. This is going to be a short post about the upcoming national election.

For those who are able to vote, please use it well. Your vote will determine the path of this country. For those who are illegible, like me, please support the election. Well, I'll take some pictures from tomorrow's election and I'll post something about tomorrow's election.

Camping OMK Area 1 & 2

Untuk kesekian kalinya, dalam bahasa Indonesia.

Well, ini bukan pertama kalinya gw mengikuti acara mudika atau OMK (Orang Muda Katolik), tapi yang kali ini punya kesan tersendiri.

Why? karena acara ini, yang baru gw ikuti dalam 3 hari terakhir sangatlah mengasyikan dan macam-macam!

What? Acaranya apa? Acaranya adalah "Summer Camp" yang diadakan di Batu Tapak Camping Ground di Cidahu, Sukabumi. Benar-benar dekat dengan alam!

What's inside? Ngapain saja? Melakukan banyak hal! Antara lain hiking, basah-basahan,misa alam, dll, dsb, dst.

The Story?

Here's the story.
Day One - Yang pertama, kita berangkat sekitar pukul 5.00 pagi dari halaman gereja St.Matias Rasul Kosambi (kepagian?), dan hebatnya kita tidak naik bus, melainkan truk TNI (hell yeah, Truk TNI!). Mau tahu rasanya naik truk TNI? Jangan sekali-kali duduk di bagian paling depan dari containernya! Dinginnya luar biasa! Beberapa jam kemudian sampai, dan sudah diajak mendaki gunung, ke tempat perkemahan, dan toiletnya? Kira-kira 100-300 meter dari tempat perkemahan, menurun dan jalan yang melewati berbagai cobaan (maaf, lebay). Acaranya sih, seru ya, ada game per kelompok dll dsb. Kenal dengan sebagian besar dari peserta lelaki dari acara ini, mereka gila juga! oh, malam-malam? Dinginnnya luar biasa.

Day Two - Bangun pagi-pagi buta, SKJ geblek dilaksanakan, dilanjutkan dengan sarapan. Lalu, hiking! Melihat air terjun di daerah ini, dan, ok, kita semua basah. Siangnya Rm.Didit, romo paroki kami datang, dan betapa terkejutnya aku, dia membawa ransel besar yang isinya kamera Canon EOS D50, lengkap dengan lensa 17-85mm dan 70-200mmnya (2-2nya sudah ada IS!). Harga barang bawaannya tersebut? Kira-kira Rp 35,000,000.00! Dan dia sudah lihai memotret dalam mode M (manual). Malamnya, berbagai acara, terutama game malam hari. Ini baru seru. Dilanjutkan dengan api unggun yang cukup menghangatkan.

EOS 50D, oh ya, lengkap dengan 2 lensa, monopod,blitz external, dan hand grips!

Gara-gara ini, jadi sering pegang-pegang dan coba-coba. Sampai-sampai seorang teman berkata, "Do, lw udah kayak ketemu emas!"

Oh, air terjunnya bagus loh! Benar-benar spot yang bagus, entah buat hiking, outbond, camping, maupun hunting foto. Pacaran juga boleh....di tengah hutan sih..

Day 3 - Nah, aktivitas dimulai pukul 12.00 pagi, intinya gw setengah bergadang, begitupula panitia acara. Alhasil? Banyak di antara mereka yang tepar. Gw juga tidur hanya sebentar. Acara hari ini biasa saja, hanya evaluasi, dan Misa alam, oh well, gw harus jadi lektor (pembaca kitab suci di depan umat) dadakan. Lanjut dengan foto-foto narsis bin girang. Dan, hampir sebagian besar peserta sudah cukup gw kenal. Pulang naik truk lagi.

By the way, di sini gw ketemu 1 ekor cewek, yang bisa dibilang masih bocah (masih SMP sih). Dan dia, ganas luar biasa! Sampai-sampai dalam hati berkata, "wow,dia mah tinggal dikasih tanduk dan ekor, jadi iblis deh!", hehe. Yang jelas, dari acara ini, gw jadi mengenal mudika wilayah sendiri yang tadi nya I-care-not banget. Nampaknya, mulai sekarang, kalau ada acara-acara mudika, ikutan ah.

Fresh News about Jiffest 2009!

Do you know Jiffest? Well, for those who have no idea what Jiffest is, I'll tell you. Jiffest stands for Jakarta International Film Festival, which was held once a year, usually took place by the end of the year (December). Jiffest also hailed as one of the most exciting (in Asia) and the biggest film festival in South East Asia!

Well, this year's Jiffest will be held on December 4th to 12th. And there is a fresh news from Jiffest, stated that they have selected their opening movie, "Sang Pemimpi" ("The Dreamer"). "Sang Pemimpi" is the sequel of Laskar Pelangi (The Rainbow Troops), Indonesia biggest box-office of all time. And this is the first time when Jiffest select an Indonesian Movie as the opening (2008's opening is Burn After Reading).

Jiffest, still long way to go though, but I really miss the ambiance! This year, I must watch as much as I can!

And I hope there will be more movie available than last year's.
